Graeber Design Process of Doing Business Policies

 

We will always go above and beyond to provide my clients with the best possible pieces of furniture, and because of this we will expect the client to treat us with the due consideration and respect in all phases of the ordering and building process.

Custom furniture is exactly that, custom: So there is no set process for most of the pieces we build.
They require:

  • The acquisition of select woods

  • The milling and processing of the woods

  • The acquisition of parts, supplies, and disposables

  • The design, engineering and prototyping of parts

  • Fabrication of wood and metal pieces

  • Assembly

  • LOTS of sanding

  • Finishing

Production and delivery lead times are estimates and may be subject to change. There may be unexpected delays in the process, and we reserve the right to take whatever time is needed to produce pieces that are up to our standards of quality.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a team of furniture makers focused on building quality pieces in a timely manner, and always have multiple pieces in various stages of processing, assembly and finishing. We do not have an office or sales staff to track and provide updates on pieces. If you will require regular updates, please inform us when ordering so that we can account and charge for that added time.


Graeber Design reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, as we find necessary.


All pieces are considered custom and therefore deemed Final Sale, and are not able to be returned for a refund.


A half down deposit payment is required for custom orders. Once production has commenced and costs of production have been incurred a full refund is no longer possible. In the case that an order needs to be cancelled after production has begun, all incurred costs and imbursement of time will be deducted from a refund amount at our discretion.
The cancellation of a custom order by a client nullifies all previous agreements, understandings, offers and obligations regarding that order, unless otherwise stated.


Once a custom order has gone into production there are no guarantees that they are able to be modified. Charges may be applied to any production modifications.


Graeber Design products are hand crafted, and variations are to be expected. It is always our goal to make each piece unique. Your piece will not exactly match photos provided or the images on this website.


Graeber Design does not provide delivery service to all areas. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange and pay for delivery/freight services outside of our local delivery area.

Graeber design assumes no liability for damages caused by outside delivery/freight services. It is the customer’s responsibility to register damages with the delivery/freight company and handle all insurance claims.
